Badder Than Old King Kong, Meaner Than a Junk Yard Dog

The docks at Saint Valery en Caux show crystal blue waters with boats anchored in place

Funny story, I lost my music player before posting last week’s 10! So instead of hitting shuffle on my completely curated player full of tracks, I wound up hitting play on my Music YouTube library and wound up posting a ton of deep cuts. Which may explain why John walked away easily with a victory from guessing just one track after correctly identifying “Money” by Pink Floyd. You can check out last week’s answers here or in a YouTube playlist!

Now it’s time for this week’s 10! Get in the comments to identify the artist and song title for any of the 10 lyrics below. Remember: No searching for the answers, if you get close to the title and artist and nobody else gets closer then you get credit, and if you identify a cover that I can find then you get credit automatically! Let’s crack in!

  1. #3 is, I think, Head over Feet by Alanis Morrisette. I can sing bits of #2 but can’t name the song and I’m not sure about the artist.

  2. 5. “Jesus Was a Cross Maker” by Judee Sill
    9. “Karma Chameleon” by Culture Club

    #10 also sounds familiar.
