With Friday 10 You Get Eggroll

It’s Friday, which means it’s time to shuffle the music player and pull out 10 lyrics for you to take a guess at!

After I said it was unfair that the previous week’s 10 had a Japanese lyric, there was one in this bunch, too! This time from OKAMOTO’s, whose “Welcome My Friend” was a definite highlight as the closing theme of “The Millionaire Detective – Balance: UNLIMITED,” which led me to listen to more of their music and come up with “Young Japanese.”

Fun fact, the members of OKAMOTO’s bonded over their shared love of the music of the Ramones, and like the Ramones they all play under the same stage family name: Okamoto.

As always, the rules:

1. No Searching.
2. You only have to be close to the title. (“Um, Actually” rules apply — you get the point if you’re close, unless someone gets closer)
3. I give credit for cover versions, but they have to be at least relatively well-known. “Glenn Campbell used to perform it as a warm-up for his variety show, but I don’t think he ever recorded it,” is a gold star for you on music trivia, but I won’t count it.
