Hanging On in Quiet Desperation is the English Way

A dark-haired woman in a dark blue jumpsuit with white trim holds a small disco ball in her hands. A purple curtain is behind her.

Last week’s 10 has all been posted up, and the answers can be listened to as a YouTube playlist if you like! We had 4/10 identified, resulting in a tie between Thudfactor and Fred with two lyrics each!

Among the lyrics for last week was karaoke favorite “Faith,” by George Michael — and anybody I’ve ever seen at a karaoke night who ever got up and announced that they wanted to sing the Limp Bizkit version was rightfully booed from the stage. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t good covers. It just helps if you have J.D. Smoothe take the vocals.

It’s time for a new set of lyrics to be identified, so get in the comments! Remember I give credit for cover versions (as long as I can find them), you need the song and the artist, and you’re on your honor not to go Googling the answer (or any other search, for that matter — yes, a Bing is a Google.)
