Sarah’s Girlfriend is Working the Door

It’s time for another Friday 10! Last week’s set got a few answers. John picked up one by identifying Digital Underground’s “The Humpty Dance,” while Fred picked up Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb,” but it was Frodis Caper who clinched the win with three lyrics correctly identified. You can see all the answers at the original post, or you can listen to them on this handy YouTube playlist.

This week’s 10 are ready to be identified, so get in the comments! As you identify artists and titles, remember: No searching for the answers, try to get as close as you can, and know that if you identify a cover that’s different from the one I was listening to, you still get credit — as long as I can find that cover.

  1. Why do these hotel walls hang their strangeness on my own?
  2. Is this the feeling I need to walk with?
  3. I think I finally had enough — I think I maybe think too much
  4. I’m cliché. Who cares? It’s a sexually explicit kind of love affair
  5. Their faces fade as the years go by, yet I still recall as I wander on
  6. And they’ll always be mine — it makes me feel alive (Alive)
  7. When I first jump out of bed, out my window goes my head
  8. You’re gonna fly away — glad you’re goin’ my way
  9. And they got a good thing goin’ when the words don’t get in the way

  10. I’ll forget this night if I drink too fast — how am I ever gon’ get that back?

Finished? You’ll find 10 more to guess over at John’s and at Fred’s!
